With a strong profit increase of 38.54 percent in 2021, BDStar Navigation Co. Ltd, has established itself as a leading satellite navigation company in the global market.

Background: robust demand for navigation chips. In figures: The company states its net profit at 203 million yuan (about 32.22 million U.S. dollars). This represents a year-on-year increase of 38.54 percent. Sales rose 6.15 percent year-on-year to 3.85 billion yuan. Earnings per share were 0.4 yuan.

Strong demand for navigation chips came from areas such as unmanned aerial vehicles, smart agriculture, surveying and mapping, and the Internet of Things, causing the company’s chip business to expand rapidly, the release said.
