Naver has developed its own large language model

Naver, the South Korean Internet giant, presented its own large language model for search and chat a few days ago.
The HyperCLOVAX LLM supports services such as a ChatGPT-style AI chatbot called CLOVA X and a generative AI-powered search engine called Cue.
Cue, similar to Microsoft’s AI Bing, will launch in September for the best tests. According to Naver, HyperCLOVA has 204 billion parameters. It is one of only five global companies to have created its own language model with more than 100 billion parameters.
Previously, Naver launched its CLOVA X beta services in English and Korean. A new data center for HyperCLOVA X services is scheduled to open in November. Naver has announced that it is working with Samsung on new chip solutions for hyperscale AI.
