Microsoft is rolling out an update

Microsoft is rolling out an update that adds its AI assistant Copilot to Windows 11.

The rollout could take weeks or months to reach many devices.

Copilot is Microsoft’s AI-powered digital assistant for launching apps, answering questions, controlling PC settings and more.

The assistant will be available via a new Windows 11 sidebar. There will also be Copilot integrations in Windows.

There is a separate Windows 11 23H2 update for this year, which should be available in the fourth quarter.

In addition to Copilot, the latest updates add over 150 new features, including an AI image creator in Microsoft Paint, AI text extraction in the Snipping Tool, background blur in the Photos app, and more.
