Google Play Games launched in Asia

Google has launched the beta version of Google Play Games for PCs in Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan. The offering, which lets users play mobile Android games on Windows desktop PCs, is expected to expand to other countries later this year.

Players must register before they can browse, download and play mobile games on larger PC screens using a mouse and keyboard. The feature syncs games across phones, tablets, Chromebooks and Windows PCs, allowing users to continue playing between devices.

Right now, the beta is limited to more than 25 of the most popular mobile games, including „Mobile Legends: Bang Bang,“ „Three Kingdoms Tactics“ and „Summoners War.“

Google first announced Google Play Games for PCs in December and promised a broader rollout in 2022. Meanwhile, the company has promised that details about more beta versions and expansions will be announced „soon.“
