Nvidia has announced another AI model: Neuralangelo. Its special achievement consists in generating detailed and structured 3D structures from simple video clips.
Additional skills:
• The model can render 3D virtual representations of buildings, sculptures, and other real-world objects or spaces that can be imported into design apps for editing.
• At least several 2D video images of the object from different angles are required.
• Neuralangelo has applications in areas such as video game development, creating digital twins, and art.
• Nvidia says the AI model was inherited from Instant NeRF, its AI tool demonstrated last year that creates 3D objects from 2D photos in milliseconds.
• It could be used to capture video conferences in 3D, reconstruct scenes for 3D digital maps, and quickly create locations and avatars for the metaverse.
