MWC Shanghai: Expectations are high
Shanghai, Feb. 19, 2021
Announcements about MWC Shanghai 2021, to be held Feb. 23-25, have piqued the curiosity of mobile operators and users.
Asia’s leading event for next-generation technologies – 5G, IoT, AI, Big Data – will showcase the latest innovations in mobile with a special focus on Intelligent Connectivity, solutions that benefit from a combination of the 5G-era family of mobile networks, intelligent artificial intelligence platforms and data from various IoT devices.
This year, MWC Shanghai will welcome international attendees and audiences, with a virtual platform accompanying the physical event. Online attendees will be able to access live conference and partner content online.
In a statement, event organizer GSMA urges attendees to „Discover how these technologies will impact nearly every aspect of our lives, including entertainment, transportation, public services, industry, environmental sustainability and, of course, web and cloud connectivity.“ .
Together with leading brands such as BICS, Huawei, myFC and Shanghai Ratta Smart Technology, GSMA will showcase its key programs on Internet of Things, Mobile Connect and Future Networks, he said.
„MWC21 Shanghai is much more than just an event,“ emphasized John Hoffman, CEO, GSMA Ltd. „It is a celebration of the power of smart connectivity and provides a platform for people to come together and drive the industry and society forward. Bringing back the MWC event series for 2021 has taken a superhuman effort, and we look forward to welcoming the mobile ecosystem back to Shanghai in February.“
