StoryFile: Answers still in 1000 years

Los Angeles, 3/25/2021

Actor William Shatner, 90, is excited: „Imagine being able to record your memories and views of yourself in such a way that future generations could talk to you hundreds of years from now – and you could answer them (as if you were still alive).“ This is made possible by StoryFile, an information technology company specializing in AI and natural language processing. Its interactive video program answers questions by sorting the footage to give the best answers.
Shatner is the first person to work on the effort with Los Angeles-based StoryFile. The company uses 3D video technology, depth kits and sound equipment to record a person. It later tags clips from the footage and trains an AI model to respond to natural language requests.
Shatner is now a brand ambassador for StoryFile, which plans to release the actor’s video program in May. The conversational video will reportedly work with all connected devices and 3D, augmented reality and virtual reality systems.
