Samsara continues to grow by leaps and bounds

Samsara, a developer of AI-based dashcams, is the second-fastest growing company in America, according to the latest Financial Times list. It specializes in IoT solutions that combine hardware, software and the cloud to bring AI to the enterprise.

From 2016 to 2019, Samsara had a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 530%, second only to fintech company Upgrade, which had a CAGR of 686%. Samsara’s AI dash cams can detect when drivers are distracted or tailgating. They send out alerts and automatically upload the footage to the cloud.

Last month, the AI safety solution won the Computer Vision category at the Business Intelligence Group’s Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards.
