Ark Invest estimates that autonomous ride-hailing platforms, such as the future Tesla Network, will generate more than $1 trillion in revenue by 2030.

The asset management company, a Tesla shareholder, believes Tesla Network will be a big part of that market. CEO Elon Musk said he is open to launching the app,

According to Ark, Tesla Network could capture a larger share of the ride-hailing market than its competitors (Uber and Lyft) because it doesn’t use lidar and relies on computer vision, which is more scalable.

Ark estimates a 30% chance that Tesla could launch its ride-hailing service in 2022. If so, Ark predicts adoption would reach 20% by 2025.
