Smart More wants to go public

Shenzhen, Aug. 27, 2021.

Shenzhen-based AI and computer vision startup SmartMore is planning an initial public offering in Singapore to expand across Southeast Asia.

The company closed $200 million in funding in June to increase its investment in research and development and further expand its smart manufacturing solutions.

The technology, which uses CV to identify and perceive objects, helps detect malfunctions along manufacturing lines, including those invisible to the human eye. The company is also developing AI technology for video enhancement for conferencing, mobile gaming and entertainment purposes.

Customers include Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Airbus and Canon.
