Waymo announces that „Trusted Tester“ – „a pilot program for regular people“ in San Francisco will soon test an autonomous robot cab service with selected metropolitan residents. The core point of the program is that the testers will share their experiences.
The rides in the self-driving white electric car Jaguar – I – Pace will be free of charge.
San Francisco residents can sign up through the Waymo One app, but they will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Waymo’s fully self-driving cab service is currently only operating in the Phoenix metropolitan area, but has already been tested in other cities.
