Microsoft has acquired Ally.io

Microsoft has acquired Ally.io, a company focused on OKR goal tracking software, with plans to merge it with its Viva employee experience platform. Ally.io was valued at $345 million after the acquisition.

The cost of the acquisition was not disclosed. Ally.io had $73 million in funding and most recently raised a $50 million Series C in February, led by Greenoaks Capital.

According to Ally.io, over 500,000 goals have been created by customers in 80 countries using its product. The software currently offers integrations with Excel, GitHub, GitLab, Asana, Salesforce, Zendesk and Tableau, among others.

Customers include Palo Alto Networks, DropBox, NetApp, Zillow and Cybereason.
