Oracle – Survey: Enormous openness of employees to robots

Employees are open to helping robots and other technologies advance their careers, according to Oracle’s “AI at Work” survey. The computer technology company surveyed 14,600 executives, managers and employees from the U.S. and a dozen other countries.

Some results:

►75% of workers said they feel “stuck” personally and professionally, and more are turning to technology like AI to help them.

►85% want technology to help them define their future. This includes identifying skills to develop, learning new skills, and achieving career goals.

►75% said they would change their lives based on suggestions from robots.

►82% believe robots can support their careers better than other humans by providing unbiased recommendations, answering questions, and finding better-fitting jobs.

►55% would be more likely to stay with a company that uses AI and other advanced technologies to support career development.
