Human robots like “Sophia” to become even more intelligent

The developer of “intelligent” NFTs, Alethea AI, has teamed up to launch interactive iNFTs based on the humanoid robot Sophia.

BeingAI developed the anime versions of Sophia, which will be launched as 100 NFTs that can interact and talk with users in playful environments.

Intelligent NFTs, or iNFTs, are smart avatars, similar to chatbots, that can be owned, trained or sold. 20 of the Sophia virtual avatars will be auctioned daily on the Binance NFT marketplace from Dec. 16-21.

Hong Kong-based Hanson Robots developed and activated Sophia in 2016, and the virtual representation of Sophia will allow the company to “reach millions of simultaneous interactions across multiple devices and media platforms,” according to founder and CEO Jeanne Lim.

In June, brokerage Sotheby’s auctioned off Alethea’s virtual AI creature, named Alice, for $478,000.
