Pentagon: ML- learning models now monitor Arthur

Washington, Feb. 23, 2022

The Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC), part of the Pentgon, has signed a master contract with software provider Arthur. This shows that Arthur’s platform will provide AI services of over $249 million. Arthurs experts are specialized in monitoring machine learning models, which they optimize for accuracy, explainability and fairness.

Arthur is among a growing number of companies offering such ML model verification services. The company closed a $15 million Series A funding round in late 2020.

Previously, the JAIC had selected DataRobot as an AI partner under a five-year master agreement. This software company specializes AI cloud platforms.

No-code computer vision company CrowdAI, AI data infrastructure provider Scale AI and AI technology provider Veritone are also part of the agreement. The Pentagon established the JAIC in 2018 to deploy AI across the department.
