Google has new Android features

San Francisco, 3/16/2022

These are the highlights:

☻ Google Photos: Pixel users and Google One members can use the portrait blur feature for more types of photos, such as pets and plants.

☻ Gboard: The keyboard’s grammar correction feature is extended to all Android users, not just Pixel users. Google is also updating Gboard with 2,000 more emoji mashup stickers.

☻ Share nearby: Android 6+ users will be able to share photos, videos and more with multiple nearby people at once.

☻ Google TV: There will be a Highlights tab that summarizes shows, news, and reviews based on what a person is watching.

☻ Pay for parking: Users can use their voice to pay for parking in ParkMobile zones in more than 400 U.S. cities. They can also check parking status and extend parking time with Google Assistant.

☻ Live Transcribe: The free speech-to-text transcription app is updated to work in offline mode.

☻ Screen Time widget: The new widget displays the three apps a user spends the most time with during the day. Users can set daily timers for apps or pause them for specific periods of time.
