The text-to-image generator Stable Diffusion is now available in a public demo and a new web app on DreamStudio. Stability AI co-developed the popular open-source AI program that generates images from short text instructions.
The DreamStudio interface requires registration. Users receive 200 credits to use the AI for free, after which they can purchase additional credits. Stable Diffusion has been released under a Creative ML OpenRAIL-M license for commercial and non-commercial use.
Stability notes that the model was trained on image-text pairs from the Internet, meaning it could „create social biases and produce unsafe content.“
