ParagraphAI has released a free AI writing assistant built on OpenAI’s GPT-3. The tool, which creates articles, essays and other original text, is available for free from Google’s Chrome Web Store and Apple’s App Store.

The natural language processing system composes original paragraphs on „any topic“ with proper grammar and tone correction, according to the company.
The tool, also called ParagraphAI, writes 1,000 original words in seconds, according to co-founder and CEO Shail Silver.

It allows writers to become more like editors, he explained. Once the system generates the text, the user should review and fine-tune it, as well as perform fact and plagiarism checks.

The tool remains free for writing up to 20 paragraphs a day for personal use. It also offers a student discount and other payment plans.

Peer-to-peer review site G2 lists 44 AI writing assistants, of which free trials are currently available.

The top 10 are Writesonic, Grammarly Business, Jasper, Rytr, Peppertype.ai, Anyword, Simplified, Scalenut, Semrush and Outranking.
