San Francisco, 10/25/2022

Apple has now currently rolled out its next-generation operating systems for iPhones, iPads and Macs in most countries. These are software updates for iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura.

iOS 16.1 for iPhone 8 or newer models includes the usual bug and security fixes, as well as a number of new features:

1. Apple’s new iCloud shared photo library allows all library users to add, edit and delete photos and videos.

2. it allows iPhone, iPad and Apple TV users to access Fitness+ without the Apple Watch.

3. new Clean Energy Charging feature optimizes charging when clean energy sources are available to reduce iPhone’s carbon footprint.

4. iPadOS 16.1 and macOS Ventura introduce many of the same features found in iOS 16, which was released in September. OS-specific features include Apple’s new Stage Manager multitasking system, which allows users to resize app windows and display more windows on the screen.

Apple is also expected to release watchOS 9.1 and tvOS 16.1.
