ChatGPT is now on the BofA list of unauthorized apps. The banking giant reportedly informed employees that OpenAI and ChatGPT are banned from business use.
Meanwhile, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, and Goldman Sachs Group have all banned the AI chatbot via an automatic third-party software restriction. Deutsche Bank has removed employee access to ChatGPT.
The banking industry may be particularly concerned about workers using third-party AI software like ChatGPT, as it could lead to data and information leakage and potentially violate government regulations.
