Musk relinquishes seat on Twitter board of directors

Elon Musk, now Twitter’s largest shareholder , reportedly told Twitter executives on Saturday that he will not accept the offer to join the Twitter board. Twitter – Ceo Parag Agrawal confirmed this in a letter to employees over the weekend.

„I believe this is for the best,“ Agrawal wrote, adding that the company „will continue to be open to [Musk’s] contributions.“ He added that the company’s „goals and priorities remain unchanged.“

Musk has responded to numerous tweets in recent days that suggest he has many criticisms and thoughts about the company’s direction. But most of the tweets have reportedly since been deleted.
