Alibaba clearly introduces senior-friendly features

Hangzhou-based Alibaba Group will introduce new features to make its platform more accessible to the elderly and visually impaired. The new artificial intelligence (AI) features will help users with many everyday services such as transportation and online shopping.

Alibaba pointed out that the new features will include larger fonts, easy navigation tools and voice support. As a result, some 85 million disabled people and 260 million adults over the age of 60 in China could benefit.

According to the China Development Research Foundation, nearly one-third of the population will be seniors by 2050.
