US banks are consistent: no employee access to ChatGPT application

Several US media reported that Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs Group and other banks are largely banning employee access to OpenAI’s ChatGPT application has blocked access to ChatGPT for its global workforce.

ChatGPT is now on the BofA list of unauthorized apps. The banking giant reportedly informed employees that OpenAI and ChatGPT are banned from business use.

Meanwhile, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, and Goldman Sachs Group have all banned the AI chatbot via an automatic third-party software restriction. Deutsche Bank has removed employee access to ChatGPT.
