Amazon: Sellers will soon receive Tooi for product descriptions

Amazon is rolling out an artificial intelligence tool for sellers on its marketplace that will write text for product listings, a company spokesman confirmed. This is one of the first examples of Amazon incorporating large-language models into its e-commerce store.

While Amazon’s best-known AI tools are those that its Amazon Web Services cloud unit sells to other companies, the previously unreported product listing tool is one notable way Amazon is using the technology to improve its own operations . Last week, CEO Andy Jassy told analysts that multiple generative AI projects were in the works across all of the company’s businesses, including e-commerce.
