An AI-controlled music producer known in the scene as “Ghostwriter” (his alias) has released a new song.
The New York Times reports that the ghostwriting team has been quietly meeting with top music industry figures, including the Recording Academy, to explore ways to integrate AI into songwriting.
Ghostwriter previously released Heart on My Sleeve, an unauthorized title featuring fake voices by artists Drake and The Weeknd. The song was clicked millions of times across platforms and belonged in the Top – K
On Tuesday, Ghostwriter returned with a new track, titled „Whiplash,“ intriguing because of the use of an AI vocal filter. This should emulate the styles of Travis Scott and 21 Avage.
The ghostwriting team has submitted „Heart on My Sleeve“ for consideration in two categories – Best Rap Song and Song of the Year – at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
