Apple’s new 15 series – exciting and innovative is different

Apple introduced the iPhone 15 series on Tuesday, its first smartphone equipped with a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port. The series includes the standard iPhone 15, 15 Plus, and the high-end iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus use the A16 Bionic chip. A major change is the replacement of the notch with the Dynamic Island, which comes with a 12MP selfie camera and Face ID.

Both new launches have a brighter display and a 48-megapixel camera. The 15 Pro now boasts a 6.1-inch screen and the Pro Max even has a 6.7-inch display. Both are powered by the new A17 Pro chip. The Pro models are made of titanium

and have an action button.

Because these features were not new, most of the attention was focused on pricing. After that, it is clear:

– The iPhone 15 starts at $799 with 128GB and the iPhone 15 Plus starts at $899 with the same storage capacity.

– The 15 Pro starts at $999 with 128GB of storage;

– the Pro Max costs at least $1,199. But some users will be happy about the 256 GB storage capacity.

All models will be available on September 22nd, with pre-orders starting this Friday.

Apple also announced two new smartwatches, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the Apple Watch Series 9.
