The company Jvion has introduced an online mapping tool that allows people to view regions of the United States and see the areas that are most susceptible to negative effects of COVID-19 and other coronavirus diseases.
The free Community Vulnerability Map divides the United States into hundreds of different regions based on census data, which users can click to see a „Community Vulnerability“ score (from very low to extremely high) and the socioeconomic factors (such as low unemployment or environmental health risks) that cause that risk.
The interactive map, built on Microsoft Azure, also includes points of interest in each area, such as food sources and hospitals. Jvion said the information came from an internal analysis of about 30 million unidentifiable patient records.
