Manus VR, a company that produces enterprise-quality data gloves, is preparing to release a full-body tracking solution for virtual reality.
Manus Polygon“ promises to bring the entire body into VR, reports Peter Graham. Like other full-body tracking solutions, such as CloudGate Studios‘ version for Iceland 359, the system (first introduced at CES 2020 when we were still holding large mass events) uses live trackers on the feet, waist and hands of users. When it is officially launched in June, Manus Polygon will be compatible with Unity, and the company plans to release another version for the Unreal Engine 4 plug-in later this year, as well as expanding compatibility for other motion capture hardware.
